PLACES OF INTEREST
Font Maciana
Small forest recreation area which is reached from the road up into the mountains to the sports center, a detour that is right. Here you can leave your car and go to the bottom through a light walk. There are tables and a fountain, and is a good place for lunch on Sundays. From Maciana you can take the path that leads to the path Enginyers, to hit the trail to the top of Torrater.
Benetzar
The source, reservoir and Benetzar ravine, a beautiful landscape in the lower-north Agullent term that has been visited and inhabited since the Neolithic. But it will be in the middle ages when it comes into the story, because a small group of tribal Muslim North Africa, the Benatzaryns, come to these lands.
By the proximity of the source and of the ravine, there used to be a certain orchard farming still in the fifties and sixties of last century. In the spring of 2011 this environment enjoyed a recovery intervention. Leaving from the city center, the Benetzar is across the highway.
