Agullent has several areas where to enjoy local recipes with a unique flavor as well as spaces that invite conversation around a dessert. The site of the Font Jordana houses the bar-restaurant of the same name where, in addition to taste excellent dishes, you can enjoy a relaxing view to the park and the mountains as well as the fresh nights of the summer. The restaurant located in the ancient flour mill also offers an excellent cuisine and its old machinery of grinding the grain creates a rustic and welcoming environment.

In order to take away some delights of Agullent you can buy some sausages or salamis at a butcher´s, also a cupcake or a piece of salted pastry.

Have a walk

Agullent is about mountains and nature. So you have to take advantage of your visit to enjoy the scenery and landscapes offered by the Sierra of Agullent. Moreover,  if you’re fit, there is a network of marked trails which starts from the Font Jordana and provides several routes of diverse difficulty to enjoy nature in good company. Space to relax

And after an intensive day: a stroll through the narrow streets of the historic center, a tasting of the organic beer made in the village or a glass of wine grown in the vineyards of the area and which won several rewards. Pleasures for the senses that can be extended with a regenerating massage or a spa session.

Culture and celebration

Spring and fall are the best periods to enjoy the scenery of Agullent with a suitable temperature. The Easter week is the moment of the celebration of the Moors and Christians and the Monday of San Vicente Ferrer. In May, every weekend there is a performance scheduled in the “Maggio Musicale”.
It is also worth mentioning that during the all month of July there is an intense cultural program which usually includes two concerts on the outdoor stage of the Font Jordana. One of them with music from songwriters generically titled “Night Songs at sunset”, and the other with more dancing rhythms. In early September, the “Night of the Fogueretes” gathers more than four centuries of tradition in one of the oldest nightly pilgrimages of Valencia.
